professional bio
Carri VanCamp brings more than 30 years of California workers’ compensation experience to her advocacy work as a hearing representative. Her background is exclusively on the claims side, giving her a practical, ground-level command of the issues that matter most to employers, insurers, and adjusters.
Prior to joining Bradford & Barthel, Ms. VanCamp served as a Senior Workers’ Compensation Claims Adjuster at Intercare Holdings, independently managing caseloads of 180 to 200 active files in a fully remote environment. Her work encompassed death claims, litigated matters, IHSS exposures, Labor Code Section 4850 claims, and public entity accounts. Earlier, she spent six years at AIMS as the Lead Adjuster for the Judicial Council of California, Riverside Superior Court, and Sacramento Superior Court, and previously held a senior claims role at Gallagher Bassett.
Throughout her career, Carri has developed deep expertise in compensability analysis, reserve management, settlement strategy, utilization review, subrogation, lien resolution, and return-to-work coordination.
Carri holds both the Workers’ Compensation Claims Administrator (WCCA) and Workers’ Compensation Claims Professional (WCCP) designations and is Self-Insurance Plans (SIP) certified.
Outside of work, Carri enjoys traveling and spending time with her family and friends.
