Elise Giongco is an Associate Attorney in Bradford & Barthel’s Oakland office. Bringing a unique, balanced perspective to workers' compensation defense, Elise leverages her prior experience representing injured workers to develop strategic, efficient, and cost-effective solutions for her clients. She prioritizes the firm’s commitment to transparent communication and meticulous preparation, ensuring that clients remain fully informed and empowered throughout the litigation process.
Before joining Bradford & Barthel, Elise developed a versatile legal foundation through experience in workers' compensation, immigration, and civil rights law. Her commitment to advocacy is further evidenced by her service as a Domestic Violence Legal Specialist extern at the Hayward Hall of Justice, where she gained invaluable experience navigating complex, sensitive legal matters.
Elise earned her Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Santa Cruz, and her Juris Doctor from the University of San Francisco School of Law. Demonstrating a deep commitment to institutional advocacy, she founded the Parents and Advocates Law Student Association during law school—an initiative that successfully championed the creation of lactation rooms and changing stations on campus. Her peers recognized her leadership by selecting her as the commencement speaker for her graduating class.
Outside of the office, she is a dedicated family person who enjoys cheering on her children at their basketball and soccer games. An avid music enthusiast, her interests range from Broadway productions and Disney symphonies to hip-hop concerts and K-pop stadium shows. She also enjoys bullet journaling and spending time with her family and her dog.
