Elise Giongco is an Attorney in Bradford & Barthel's Oakland office. Prior to transitioning to defense practice, Elise brings a balanced perspective to workers' compensation matters. Her diverse legal background, combined with her commitment to transparent communication and thorough preparation, enables her to guide clients through complex claims efficiently and effectively.
Before joining Bradford & Barthel, Elise gained experience in workers' compensation, immigration, and civil rights law. She also served as a Domestic Violence Legal Specialist extern at the Hayward Hall of Justice.
Elise earned her Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Santa Cruz, and her Juris Doctor from the University of San Francisco School of Law. While in law school, she founded the Parents and Advocates Law Student Association and leading advocacy efforts that resulted in the installation of lactation rooms and changing stations on campus. She was also selected as her graduating class's commencement speaker. Elise is admitted to the State Bar of California.
Outside of work, Elise is a fan of a wide range of music, from Broadway productions and Disney symphonic performances to intimate hip-hop concerts and sold-out K-pop stadium shows. She also enjoys bullet journaling, spending time with her family and dog, and cheering on her children at basketball and soccer games.
