professional bio
When Desiree Cordovadee entered the workers' compensation arena, she hit the ground running and never looked back. Shortly after starting off as a receptionist at a workers' compensation firm in 2012, her skill set and fascination with the industry saw her quickly promoted to secretary and, soon thereafter, hearing representative. In order to progress further, she entered law school so that she could fully litigate cases.
Desiree shined at Southern New Hampshire University, where her law studies were awarded a Dean's Merit Scholarship and an academic fellowship.
As an attorney, Ms. Cordovadee aggressively defends a wide range of employers, carriers, and third party administrators via cases-in-chief, liens, and Proposition 22 employment defenses. Given her unmatched knowledge and experience within this niche, she is often called to educate judges, arbitrators, and parties as the applicable law evolves. As a result, she obtains either de minimis settlements or outright dismissals.
In her spare time, Ms. Cordovadee enjoys socializing, competing in various sports, and playing games with her friends and family. As an Arkansan, she also enjoys the outdoors.
