professional bio
Dante Searcy brings more than a decade of a mixture of workers' compensation and human resources experience to his legal practice, providing him with a practical understanding of the challenges employers face when navigating complex claims. His entire legal career has been dedicated to the defense of insurance carriers, TPAs, and self-insured employers. In addition to traditional issues associated with California workers' compensation, he aggressively represents defendants in Labor Code Section 132a and Serious and Willful Misconduct (S&W) claims.
Mr. Searcy proudly served six years in the United States Navy as a Farsi language interpreter. He attended the Defense Language Institute, where he received intensive training in Persian-Farsi that supported his service as a military linguist. Mr. Searcy applies the resulting analytical and communication skills to his defense of workers' compensation claims, successfully providing detailed, clearly communicated strategic options to his clients.
Outside of work, Mr. Searcy enjoys spending time with his husband and being the favorite uncle to his nieces and nephews. His interests include concerts, collecting vinyl records, practicing hot yoga, and gardening.
