professional bio
Aaron Bratton’s professional experience includes work with the Employment Development Department and a public-sector labor union, where he gained valuable insight into employment practices and workplace issues. He served as trial attorney for the San Bernardino County Public Defender’s Office. In that role, Aaron developed a reputation as a zealous advocate, consistently negotiating favorable resolutions for his clients or securing them through jury verdicts.
Mr. Bratton takes pride in fighting on principle and his ability to achieve his clients' goals with little to no compromise. Nevertheless, he recognizes that negotiation and coming to terms are often essential, particularly in a business venue. Thus, he has created approaches and strategies for achieving the best available resolutions for his clients while accommodating his opponents' needs only to the extent necessary. His career is replete with examples in which his clients have gotten far more than "their fair share," despite the erroneous beliefs of his opponents that they have "won."
Aaron earned his Juris Doctor from Pepperdine University School of Law, where he focused on business, entrepreneurship, and employment law. During his time at Pepperdine, he was selected for a competitive student clerkship with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and participated in the London Study Abroad Program, concentrating on international business and commercial arbitration.
Before attending law school, Mr. Bratton earned his Associate’s Degree in Social & Behavioral Science from Chaffey College and his Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from California State University, San Bernardino.
A native of Ontario, California, Aaron grew up in a large and loving household that often teased him for “arguing too much” and told him he should be a lawyer—teasing that ultimately sparked his interest in the legal field. Outside of his professional life, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons.
Aaron is a self-proclaimed history and movie buff and is dedicated to youth mentorship and community service.
