Sonia Kehyeyan has truly excelled in her academic pursuits, graduating with honors and consistently making the Dean's Honor List while earning her BA and MBA degrees from Azusa Pacific University, and her Juris Doctorate degree from Western State University School of Law.
Beyond her impressive academic achievements, Sonia is also a distinguished graduate of NITA, the National Institute of Advocacy, where she was mentored by Federal Judges and California Supreme Court justices. Her professional strengths lie in negotiations and mediations, complemented by extensive trial experience in civil defense litigation, including over 20 jury trials she has successfully defended. She also possesses significant expertise in Workers' Compensation defense litigation and "take nothing" trials. Sonia's positive attitude, innovative thinking, and professional rapport with opposing attorneys and judges consistently leads to fast, favorable, cost-effective, and fair results for her clients.
In addition to her legal work, Sonia is actively involved in community outreach programs through the Orange County Bar Association. She also dedicates her time to mentoring at-risk teenagers and participating in moot court trials at the Orangewood Children's Home. Outside of her professional and philanthropic endeavors, Sonia has a passion for the arts, attending various performing art events, including opera, ballet, musicals, and plays. She cherishes quality time with her family and friends, creating lasting memories. Her adventurous spirit has led her to remarkable travel experiences, such as climbing a live volcano in Costa Rica while lava flowed, skiing the Bunda sand dunes in Brazil, swimming with dolphins and giant turtles in Hawaii, and driving and camping across Europe.
