Rosa Sanchez-Ervin was born in California. She earned her Associates degree from Mt. San Antonio Community College where she ran track and cross-country. She was also MVP and team captain.
Ms. Sanchez-Ervin transferred to Lindsey Wilson College in Columbia, KY on an athletic scholarship. She was published in Whose Who Among Colleges & Universities while at Lindsey Wilson College.
Eventually Ms. Sanchez-Ervin missed home and transferred to University of La Verne, where she earned an academic scholarship. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of La Verne and graduated with honors. She also ran track and cross-country and was MVP and team captain for the University of La Verne.
Ms. Sanchez-Ervin earned her Juris Doctorate from Whittier Law School. She passed the State Bar of California and was admitted to practice law in California in 2000.
As part of her legal experience, Ms. Sanchez-Ervin worked in personal injury cases, auto accidents, slip and falls, and dog bites.
When not practicing law, she enjoys running. She is an avid runner, participating in the 2019 Boston Marathon and the 2020 Boston Marathon (virtually). She qualified for the Boston Marathon for 2019, 2020 and for 2021. She also ran the Los Angeles Marathon, Nike Women’s Marathon, Mt. Charleston Marathon and the Big Cottonwood Marathon. She has been running since 1989.
But most of all, she loves spending time with family and friends.
