Mary Linares’ career has been dedicated to defense in a variety of venues, whether it be workers' compensation or medical malpractice. In so doing, she has crafted an aggressive approach to file handling. This has prepared her to take any matter to trial while also looking for a more expeditious, economical resolution. Her experience convinces her that the side with the most prepared attorney is the party that can expect the most satisfactory resolution. Having developed a reputation as an experienced litigator who has no fear taking issues to trial, her opposition knows they must take her very seriously.
Mary obtained a Master of Laws in Environmental Law from Pace University, Elisabeth Haub School of Law, where she specialized in Land Use and Sustainable Development Law. There, Mary facilitated meetings for the Land Use Law Center, developing sustainable and smart growth initiatives throughout communities in Westchester County, New York.
Prior to that, Mary obtained a Juris Doctor from Pacific Coast University, School of Law. During that time, she was a Judicial Extern at Orange County Superior Court, supporting Hon. Mary Schulte and Hon. Deborah Servino in all areas of their civil judicial assignments, including composing complex legal memoranda in civil and family law.
Mary is a sommelière, certified by the court of master sommeliers. She is proficient in French, Spanish and Portuguese. In her free time, she likes to play golf.
