An aggressive litigator, Tomas Anton Kunder always keeps his eye on the bottom line. He believes all files should be resolved as expeditiously and economically possible. By proceeding with discovery as if the file will go to trial, he finds that the opposition is far more likely to accept a settlement that pleases his clients. These successes are multiplied by Tomas' insistence that he maintain regular contact with the adjuster and responds quickly to their questions via phone, text or email.
In 2012, Mr. Kunder went on to receive his Juris Doctorate from San Joaquin College of Law where he was awarded the Leon S. Peters Leadership Scholarship, the Hollis G. Best Senate “Best Brief” Finalist Award, and, was chosen for an internship with the United States Department of Interior as a legal officer where he litigated cases to trial all while still in law school. In 2012, following his graduation, Mr. Kunder sat for the California State Bar and was admitted that same year where he remains in good standing today.
Born in the Czech Republic, he came to the United States at the age of 8. Fascinated with law and government, Mr. Kunder enrolled at the California State University Fresno to pursue their Pre-Law program. In 2008 he graduated earning a bachelor's degree in Philosophy with an emphasis on law and Political Science.
In 2013, Mr. Kunder began what would end up being over a decade long career in criminal defense. Having litigated everything from minor infractions, to civil commitments, to life exposures, as well as Capital Cases; Mr. Kunder sought to bring his long and unique career skill in settlement, strategy, and trial litigation, over to Bradford & Barthel.
Mr. Kunder is fluent in Slovakian, and can understand and communicate with the Czech dialect as well. Along with his wife, Mr. Kunder enjoys dedicating all of his spare time to raising his three young children, playing chess, enjoying the arts, and the occasional electric motor sports.
