professional bio
Ron Feece, having worked on both sides of the workers’ compensation aisle, prefers the defense inasmuch because “it provides more opportunities to exercise creative approaches to defending clients’ interests.” He aggressively defends employers, insurers, and third-party administrators throughout California and the United States.
Combining strong courtroom advocacy with a practical, cost-conscious approach, Ron is known for early exposure assessment, targeted discovery, and clear WCAB strategy designed to move files efficiently toward resolution. He regularly handles medical-legal disputes involving causation, apportionment, permanent disability valuation, and complex lien resolution, delivering results through focused litigation and effective settlement negotiation.
Mr. Feece’s initial introduction to the law focused on the field of Intellectual Property. As a licensed Patent Attorney, he helped national and international companies such as IBM, Hitachi, Western Digital and Cisco protect and leverage their hard-earned Intellectual Property assets. This work helped sharpen his analytical skills, thereby preparing him for the detailed exposure assessment required to be an effective workers’ compensation defense attorney. Also valuable in that regard was his work as an aerospace engineer at McDonnell Douglas and Boeing.
Mr. Feece earned his Mechanical Engineering degree at California State University, Sacramento, and his Juris Doctor at Whittier College School of Law.
In his free time, Ron enjoys skiing, hiking and biking and exploring the mountains and coasts of our beautiful state.
