Mr. Tihin’s practice focuses exclusively on the defense of workers’ compensation claims. He represents a wide range of clients including farm and labor contractors, nationwide distributors, wholesalers, retailers, transportation companies, city and county governments and school districts. George strives to provide his clients with a defense that is simultaneously strategic and cost-efficient, with a focus on achieving swift and reasonable resolution when appropriate, or obtaining a favorable ruling from the WCAB. He has litigated workers’ compensation claims at venues throughout the State of California.
Born in New York City, he obtained a Bachelor of Arts from Cornell University and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Utah. During his time in Utah, George clerked for the Salt Lake City Prosecutor and the Salt Lake County District Attorney, successfully prosecuting matters to jury verdict.
Licensed to practice in the State of California and the U.S. District Court, Central District of California, George began his practice litigating civil cases in state and federal courts, focusing on a wide range of issues from intellectual property infringement to traumatic brain injury.
In his spare time, George enjoys traveling with his family and venturing to nearby national parks. An avid baseball fan, George also tries to visit at least one new major or minor league ballpark each summer.
