David Bartley was born and raised in Ventura County, California, where he developed an early appreciation for community advocacy and the importance of strong legal systems. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in History from California State University Channel Islands, a program that strengthened his analytical skills and fueled his interest in the intersection of law, society, and public policy.
Mr. Bartley earned his Juris Doctor degree from the Colleges of Law in Ventura and was admitted to the State Bar of California in 2024 after passing the bar exam on his first attempt. During law school, he distinguished himself academically by achieving the highest grades in both Wills & Trusts and Professional Responsibility. These accomplishments reflect his dedication to the ethical practice of law and his strong command of complex legal concepts.
After spending time practicing civil litigation, David seized the opportunity to transition into workers’ compensation defense, finding the field’s fast pace, strategic complexity, and client-focused problem solving deeply rewarding. He has not looked back.
Outside of his legal practice, David enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife, their young son, and their dog. A devoted Pittsburgh Steelers fan, he also enjoys hiking in the Eastern Sierras, beach days, and exploring California’s diverse landscapes.
