professional bio
Chelsea Lalancette’s practice is dedicated exclusively to the defense of employers, insurance carries and third party administrators in workers’ compensation cases, as well as 132a and Serious & Willful matters. She appreciates the opportunity to use the many extraordinary tools rarely found elsewhere that B&B provides to assist her in her defense of her appreciative clients. She is an aggressive advocate as she prepares a matter for possible litigation before the WCAB, but always looks for available avenues to an economical, expeditious resolution.
Prior to choosing to focus her expertise on workers’ compensation, Chelsea attended college at University of San Francisco, graduated from American University Washington College of Law, and was admitted to the California State Bar. Her previous legal experience includes immigration and human rights internships during law school, clerking at the US Department of Labor Office of Administrative Law Judges, and civil litigation at a legal services organization.
In Chelsea’s free time, she enjoys making ceramics, studying foreign languages, and spending time in nature. She is fluent in Spanish, and conversational in German, Portuguese, and Mandarin Chinese.
