professional bio
Leslie (Les) Wright III has spent the majority of his career representing insurance companies, TPAs, and large self-insured employers. He enjoys aggressively negotiating and litigating complex lawsuits on behalf of multiple defendants.
Mr. Wright began his career representing insurance carriers involved in the Northridge earthquake. Thereafter, he practiced civil defense with major Los Angeles insurance defense firms, focusing on defense of construction defect claims and construction worksite injuries, taking many cases to trial.
He combined his love of architecture and the law while working as in-house counsel for large Southern California construction companies and real estate development firms. This gave rise to his familiarity with workers’ compensation from the employer’s perspective.
Learning to love workers’ compensation, Mr. Wright determined that he should practice defense full time, thus leading him to Bradford & Barthel, LLP’s Woodland Hills offices.
Having graduated in 1986 with a Bachelor of Architecture, Mr. Wright became a registered architect in 1989. Thereafter, he attended the University of Arizona, James E. Rogers College of Law, graduating in 1992.
Mr. Wright enjoys traveling throughout world in search for new cultures and exciting food experiences. When not traveling, he may be found on his favorite links or driving range in San Fernando Valley, his home for the last 14 years.
