Ambreshia Spears is an accomplished attorney with a passion and dedication for the practice of law. She prides herself on her commitment to clients, professionalism, and can-do attitude. As a workers' compensation defense attorney, Ambreshia uses her research skills, familiarity of medical records review and medical conditions to quickly and efficiently defend clients in a myriad of complex legal issues.
Ambreshia earned her B.A. in Social Sciences with a minor in History and Africana Studies from Stetson University in 2015. While in college, Ambreshia found her love for volunteer work and giving back to the local community through her work as a first-generation student peer mentor and elementary school tutor. She also became a member of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc.
While simultaneously earning her law degree from Faulkner University, Ambreshia would also earn her L.L.M. in Advocacy and Dispute Resolution in 2018. There she found her love of legal research and administrative law. After completing the required research courses, Ambreshia took several advanced legal research courses and student taught alongside the Assistant Director for Electronic Services and Research, Professor Ned Swanner.
After law school, Ambreshia accepted a position as a legal advocate and then staff attorney working at the Alameda County Homeless Action Center. There she provided free representation for social security disability claims and other public benefits. In 2022, Ambreshia began working for the Law Office of Katherine Siegfried as an associate attorney focusing primarily on social security disability benefits for children and adults with severe intellectual disabilities.
When she’s not in the office, Ambreshia loves to read, travel, garden, and spend time with her husband Ian, dog Oliver, and two daughters Raven and Naomi.
