professional bio
Tristin Dhaliwal brings a naturally adversarial and philosophical rigor to her defense practice, a perspective cultivated while earning a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. Her steadfast commitment to advocacy and a natural inclination toward defense work led her to the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law, where she initially focused on criminal defense.
Her practical training began with high-stakes, hands-on experience through multiple criminal defense externships in Sacramento, notably with the Federal Public Defender’s Office for the Eastern District of California. This intensive exposure to every stage of litigation cemented her dedication to aggressively defending clients’ interests. Coupled with a concentration in Trial Advocacy, Tristin developed formidable courtroom presence and sophisticated litigation skills.
Today, Tristin channels this focused, defense-oriented mindset directly into her work in workers’ compensation insurance defense. She is committed to protecting her clients’ interests and achieving efficient, strategic resolutions while providing the responsive, cost-effective legal services that Bradford & Barthel is known for.
Outside of the office, Tristin applies her precision to a wide variety of global cuisines, enjoying the complexity of cooking. She is also an avid Australian Shepherd enthusiast. She is proficient in Punjabi.
