Before joining Bradford & Barthel in 2024, Mr. Dietz worked for several well-established workers’ compensation defense firms practicing throughout Southern California. He also is highly experienced in public safety matters, including police officers and firefighters, before the workers’ compensation appeals board. Throughout his career, Mr. Dietz has successfully prosecuted several cases to trial on case-in-chief matters and litigated countless interlocutory issues at Priority Conference and Expedited Hearings. He enjoys fighting for his clients in all stages of litigation and takes an aggressive approach to provide the best possible outcome for his clients.
Ryan M. Dietz earned his Juris Doctor from the University of San Diego School of Law. He received his BA from Pomona College in Claremont, California where he was a member of the football team. While in law school, Mr. Dietz interned with the California Army National Guard JAG Corps at the Los Alamitos Joint Forces Training Base. Mr. Dietz has practiced in the field of workers’ compensation since 2014, spending the majority of that time as a defense attorney.
When not working, Mr. Dietz enjoys spending time with his wife and their golden retriever, Goose. He is an avid San Diego State basketball and Los Angeles Chargers fan.
