Having represented Applicants and Defendants, Katie Sung's background provides unique insights into various parties’ goals and strategies, thus permitting her to succeed in achieving appropriate, expeditious, and economical resolutions. Katie brings a well-honed expertise in both taking and defending depositions, which she considers the most critical tool in the discovery process. She consistently seeks to maximize their value for her clients, often using them as a strategic opportunity to resolve cases through Compromise and Release. Ms. Sung earned her Juris Doctor degree from Santa Barbara College of Law and her Bachelor of Arts degree from UC Berkeley with a degree in English.
In her spare time, Ms. Sung enjoys spending time with family and friends, including her furbaby "Charlie." She also enjoys listening to music (a die-hard "swiftie"), going to concerts, and watching reality TV competition shows. She also looks forward to trying new restaurants and travelling.
