Beth Macias is an optimistic and compassionate attorney who values building relationships. She has conducted and defended depositions, appeared at hearings and negotiated settlements of workers’ compensation claims. She has represented clients at Workers’ Compensation Appeals Boards throughout southern and central California.
Beth has practiced in several areas of law. As an immigration attorney she represented clients before the Board of Immigration Appeals and in United States District Court. As a Los Angeles county deputy public defender she represented indigent persons accused of crimes in California Superior Court where she tried jury trials to verdict. As a private practitioner she created estate plans and contracts, conducted and defended depositions, appeared in various courts and negotiated settlements of personal injury and workers' compensation cases.
Ms. Macias enjoys the collegiality of practicing workers’ compensation law and is grateful to partner with adjusters and insurance administrators to resolve workers’ compensation cases. She has represented defendants at the WCAB throughout southern and central California.
Beth graduated from UCLA with a BA in history and a JD from UCLA Law School. She is a certified mediator. She most enjoys attending live theater, especially to watch her sons perform.
