Lauren Coleman and Partner Nasir Adil presented a primer on joining co-defendants in cumulative trauma claims. They covered the who, when, how, and why of joinder to remind you of the rules and process under Labor Code Sec. 5500.5. Defenses against joinder and the process for seeking dismissal as a defendant will also be discussed.
