John Patrick “J.P.” Torres attended the University of California, Davis and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music in 2004. He received his Juris Doctor degree from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law in 2013 with a concentration in Trial Advocacy. During law school, Mr. Torres interned at Sacramento County Conflict Criminal Defender and the Federal Public Defender for the Eastern District of California.
Before joining the firm, Mr. Torres' legal career included staff attorney at a financial company, contract attorney representing criminal defendants, and in worker’s compensation representing injured workers in the South Bay.
Mr. Torres is admitted to the State Bar of California and the United States District Court for the Northern District of California.
