Lupe Carrasco, Esq.

Mr. Carrasco received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in sociology from the University of California, Berkeley in 1998. Following his undergraduate studies, Mr. Carrasco worked two years as a legal assistant in a workers’ compensation defense firm in San Francisco. Following his time in San Francisco, Mr. Carrasco headed to Loyola Law School where he obtained a Juris Doctorate in 2004. While in law school, Mr. Carrasco worked for two years as a law & motion law clerk for State Farm’s in-house counsel.

Upon graduating law school and being admitted to the California State Bar, Mr. Carrasco returned to workers’ compensation defense, which he continues to practice to this day. Since becoming a defense attorney, Mr. Carrasco has participated in Alternative Dispute Resolution Programs and has practiced throughout the state, having appeared at virtually every WCAB district office in California. Mr. Carrasco has worked extensively with insurance companies, third-party administrators, and self-insured employers. Mr. Carrasco has significant experience with the Medicare Secondary Payer Act and Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services regulations.

When outside of work Mr. Carrasco is an avid video gamer and Boston Terrier aficionado. His wife Kristina and he would agree that their fur babies run the show.
