professional bio
Kathleen Bloch earned her undergraduate degree from Fullerton College in 1984 and her law degree from Western State University College of Law in 1989. Since that time, she has acquired nearly two decades of experience in California workers' compensation.
Kathleen's practice is exclusively dedicated to the defense of employers, carriers and third party administrators. Kathleen has extensive experience representing self-insureds, PEO, and uninsured employers. Given her extensive experience and sophisticated legal insights, Kathleen believes that every case has elements that can be defended, there by allowing for a more economical resolution. This stance, coupled with an aggressive yet diplomatic negotiating style, results in adjusters and employers regularly seeking her assistance with sophisticated and high value matters. Significantly adding to her stature at the WCAB is her experience as judge pro tem.
When not defending clients, Kathleen enjoys traveling. She has lived on a kibbutz in Israel. She has also spent extensive time in Japan. Her favorite getaway is Kauai.
Kathleen is actively involved in her community. She volunteers regularly for Meals on Wheels.
Kathleen has also sat as judge pro tem at the WCAB.
