Jaquelyn Alvarado graduated magna cum laude at California State University (Northridge) in 2005. In 2007, she began her journey toward a law degree at Penn State University. She competed in Jessup International Moot Court and gained admission to the California State Bar in 2011.
Ms. Alvarado's practice has included employment, immigration, and personal injury law. As of 2015, she focused exclusively on workers' compensation. She enjoys keeping herself up to date on the latest strategies and changes in workers' compensation so as to ensure she is providing the best possible defenses for her clients. She always puts the client's interest first, endeavoring to provide the most expeditious and economical resolution possible. When an acceptable resolution is not available or the need to develop case law is identified, Ms. Alvarado relishes taking matters to trial. She has a long track record of successful trials, as well as fruitful doctor depositions.
Ms. Alvarado was born and raised in Los Angeles. When not aggressively defending worker's compensation claims, she enjoys spending time with her family. She enjoys learning foreign languages such as Mandarin and is a fluent Spanish speaker.
