Throughout her career as a workers' compensation attorney, Grace Morton has gained valuable experience as both a partner and associate attorney at prominent workers' compensation defense firms. Throughout her career, Ms. Morton has represented a wide range of clients within the insurance industry, from self-insured entities to Fortune 500 companies.
She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from California State University, Sacramento, in 1976. She then received her Juris Doctor degree from the University of San Francisco in 1982, where she was the Managing Editor of the University of San Francisco Law Review, Volume 15, a Stulsaft Scholar, and achieved first place in the Douglas National Moot Court Competition at New York University.
During law school, Ms. Morton interned at the NAACP Legal Defense Fund in San Francisco. Prior to joining our firm, she gained valuable experience as both a partner and associate attorney at prominent workers’ compensation defense firms. Throughout her career, Ms. Morton has represented a wide range of clients within the insurance industry, from self-insured entities to Fortune 500 companies. She is admitted to the State Bar of California and the United States District Court for the Northern District of California.
Ms. Morton has participated in the horseback riding therapeutic center for youth here in Nicasio (Halleck Creek Ranch). She has a Horsemasters Certificate from Pacific Horse Center and has owned horses. She is a student of history and is a voracious reader on the subject.
