Amy M. Marron, Esq.

Ms. Marron attended college at University of South Carolina and completed with a degree in Business in the Honors Program. She then attended law school at Nova Southeastern School of Law in Florida and obtained her JD. She later completed her Masters in Business as well. Ms. Marron is a member of the California, Florida and Washington, DC Bar Associations.

She has practiced workers’ compensation law for over 20 years. Initially, she began working on the applicants side and gained invaluable knowledge and developed close relationships with the San Diego doctors. Those relationships are of great benefit when agreeing to doctors as med-legals or when taking the doctor’s depositions.

Ms. Marron has been practicing workers’ compensation on the defense side for the last 15 years as in-house and outside counsel. She has practiced in all of the Southern California venues to include San Diego for 20 years, Orange County, Los Angeles and the Inland Empire. She has represented employers for the case in chief as well as defending 132(a) and S&W claims. Ms. Marron prevailed in a published case, Lane vs. Zurich , which was one of the first cases that decided the standards required for a properly established MPN.

Additionally, Ms. Marron has handled Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) via mediations and arbitrations cases dealing with Collective Bargaining Agreements and Carve-Out programs.
