Mr. Sittig grew up in Princeton, New Jersey. He attended the University of the Pacific at campuses in India, Mexico, and California, and he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences.
Initially he taught English and coached basketball and soccer in secondary schools from 1973 to 1979. Then from 1981 to 1990 he worked for the California State Disabilitly Insurance Office as a Workers' Compensation Supervisor.
Mr. Sittig attended Santa Barbara College of Law from 1986 to 1990 and was admitted to the bar in 1990. Ever since, he has represented both applicants and defendants in workers' compensation cases. He joined Bradford and Barthel in February, 2010.
He and his wife have three children. Their oldest son is married and a Planner for the County of San Luis Obispo, and their younger son is in medical school at Tulane. Meanwhile, their daughter is finishing her degree as a medical technician and planning her marriage in 2011.
Mr. Sittig enjoys reading, watching sports, swimming, walking, and travel.
