Cosimo Aiello was born in Boston, Massachusetts. He studied at UC Berkeley where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Classical Languages in 1993.
Mr. Aiello subsequently studied law at the UCLA School of Law and was admitted to the California State Bar in 2002.
Mr. Aiello began working in the field of Workers' Compensation in 2003 as an applicant's attorney. He has been extensively involved in both trial level and appellate work. In addition to his work on reconsideration, he has been involved in numerous appeals including two published cases: Rio Linda Union School District v. W.C.A.B. (Scheftner) (2005) 171 Cal.App.4th 517, 31 Cal. Rptr.3d 789; E.L Yeager Construction v. W.C.A.B. (Gatten) (2006) 145 Cal.App.4th 922, 52 Cal. Rptr.3d 133. He has also been a volunteer attorney with the Monterey County District Attorney's Office assisting in research and writing for appeals and writs that are within the jurisdiction of the superior court.
Mr. Aiello is fluent in Spanish.
